IDEA, the Institute for Democratic Education in America, is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that mobilizes action to advance meaningful learning and build a more just and sustainable democracy.
IDEA believes in education by, for, and with young people and communities. The organization launched in May 2010.
