Humane education enables us to find solutions that work for all by approaching human rights, environmental preservation, and animal protection as interconnected and integral dimensions of a healthy, just society. The Institute for Humane Education (IHE) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to creating a humane world through humane education.

We offer several options, including:

• Online graduate programs in humane education, including an M.Ed., an M.A. and a graduate certificate in humane education;
• Online Courses to help you thrive and transform yourself and the world;
• Educating for a Better World, our Summer Institute for classroom teachers and community educators;
• Intensive in-person workshops, such as our Sowing Seeds and MOGO (most good) Workshops to help you act on what's most important to you and achieve global change.
