New York Performance Standards Consortium
Location: New York
The Consortium is a coalition of 28 schools around New York State practicing portfolio and performance assessment that have earned a waiver out of several of the New York Regents state tests. The Consortium schools have designed a system of assessment that aligns with state standards, professional development, external review, and provides formative and summative data. Many of the consortium schools have been nationally recognized as high performing blue ribbon schools.
