Young People’s Project

Location: National

The Young People's Project develops students aged 8-22 from traditionally marginalized populations as learners, teachers, leaders, and organizers through math and media literacy, community-building, and advocacy in order to build a unique network of young people who are better equipped to navigate life's circumstances, are active in their communities, and advocate for education reform in America.

Highlights:

It is the mission of The Young People's Project to use Math Literacy as a tool to develop young leaders and organizers who radically change the quality of education and life in their communities so that all children have the opportunity to reach their full human potential.

YPP envisions a day when every young person—regardless of ethnicity, gender, or class—has access to a high quality education and the skills, attributes, and community support s/he needs to successfully meet the challenges of their generation.
